Employment after Graduation from College in Mechanical Equipment Installation

On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (Bo Lao Dong - Thuong Binh va Xa Hoi - BLDTBXH) issued Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college levels in the fields of mechanical engineering technology.

According to the Regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge and the competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the field of mechanical equipment installation, issued together with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating from the college level in the field of mechanical equipment installation, learners have the competencies to meet the requirements at job positions in the discipline, including:

- Lifting and transporting mechanical equipment;- Machining jig assemblies for installation support;- Assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machine assemblies;- Installing pumps;- Installing conveyor belts;- Installing ventilation systems;- Installing industrial building frames;- Installing fuel crushers;- Installing mechanical processing machines;- Organizing and managing installation work.

Additionally, the minimum volume of knowledge and the competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating in the field of mechanical equipment installation at the college level can further develop to higher levels.

Graduates have the competency for self-study and self-updating of scientific and technological advancements within the scope of the discipline to enhance their level or pursue bridging programs to higher levels within the field or in the same area of training.
