Duties of Agencies under the Government of Vietnam in Providing Public Services

On February 1, 2016, the Government of Vietnam promulgated Decree 10/2016/ND-CP stipulating the agencies under the Government of Vietnam.

According to the provisions of Decree 10/2016/ND-CP, for public services assigned by the Government of Vietnam, the agencies under the Government of Vietnam have the following duties and powers:

- Develop and submit national standards to the competent authorities for publication; issue quality criteria and mechanisms for monitoring, evaluating, and inspecting the quality of public services assigned by the Government of Vietnam;- Publish the base standards; issue professional, technical procedures, and economic-technical norms to implement the public services assigned by the Government of Vietnam;- Organize the implementation of the public services assigned by the Government of Vietnam;- Inspect and supervise the organization of public services implementation for agencies, organizations, and units under their jurisdiction.
