Dossier Requesting the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam to Approve Local Educational Materials (Illustrative image)
Article 11 of Circular 33/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulates the dossier requesting the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam to approve the materials, including:
- The document requesting approval of the materials.
- Materials rated as "Pass" by the Council.
- Minutes of the Council as stipulated in Clause 3, Article 8 of this Circular.
- Explanation about the materials requested for appraisal, including: title of the materials; name of the author, chief editor, general editor (if the materials have a chief editor, general editor); purpose of compilation, target audience, and scope of use; structure and content; process and results of experimentation; other related information (if any).
Additionally, Article 12 of Circular 33/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulates the procedure for processing the dossier requesting approval of the materials as follows:
- The provincial People's Committee sends the dossier requesting approval of the materials to the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
.- The Ministry of Education and Training receives the dossier from the provincial People's Committee; establishes an advisory council to help the Minister of Education and Training review the completeness and validity of the dossier in terms of content and compilation process according to the provisions of this Circular.
- The Minister of Education and Training approves the materials as stipulated.
- In cases where the dossier does not meet the requirements stipulated in this Circular, the dossier is returned to the provincial People's Committee within 15 (fifteen) working days from the date the Ministry of Education and Training receives the dossier.
