Recently, the Government of Vietnam has issued Decree 39/2006/ND-CP regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries, and the establishment of communes in Chu Se, Kong Chro, Dak Doa, Ia Grai, and KBang districts, Gia Lai province.

Decree 39/2006/ND-CP stipulates the establishment of HNol commune in Dak Doa district, Gia Lai province on the basis of 4,685 hectares of natural area and a population of 2,211 from Trang commune in Vietnam. To be specific:
- HNol commune has 4,685 hectares of natural area and a population of 2,211.- Administrative boundaries of HNol commune: East borders Mang Yang district; West borders Glar commune; South borders Trang commune; North borders Ko Dang commune.- After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish HNol commune, Trang commune retains 5,525 hectares of natural area and a population of 4,054.
Additionally, the establishment of Ia Ba commune and Ia Yok commune in Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province in Vietnam is as follows:
- Establishment of Ia Ba commune in Ia Grai district on the basis of 11,212.05 hectares of natural area and a population of 5,905 from Ia Hrung commune.
Ia Ba commune has 11,212.05 hectares of natural area and a population of 5,905. The administrative boundaries of Ia Ba commune: East borders Ia Hrung commune; West borders Ia To commune; South borders commune-level town Ia Kha; North borders Chu Pah district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Ia Ba commune, Ia Hrung commune retains 4,107.95 hectares of natural area and a population of 3,152.
- Establishment of Ia Yok commune in Ia Grai district on the basis of 2,642.71 hectares of natural area and a population of 8,246 from Ia Sao commune.
Ia Yok commune has 2,642.71 hectares of natural area and a population of 8,246. The administrative boundaries of Ia Yok commune: East borders Ia Sao commune; West borders Ia Hrung commune and Chu Pah district; South borders Ia Hrung and Ia Der communes; North borders Chu Pah district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Ia Yok commune, Ia Sao commune retains 3,701.29 hectares of natural area and a population of 7,874.
