Criteria for Pedagogical Competence of Teachers Instructing at Elementary Level

1. Criterion 1 on Pedagogical Expertise and Duration of Teaching Participation

- Have a vocational teaching pedagogical certificate for primary-level vocational training or a Level 1 pedagogical training certificate or a primary-level pedagogical qualifications certificate or equivalent and above.

- Have participated in teaching for at least 6 months.

2. Criterion 2 on Preparation for Teaching Activities

- Prepare a teaching plan for the assigned module based on the program and training plan of the entire course.

- Draft lesson plans according to regulations, reflecting the teaching and learning activities.

- Select appropriate teaching methods for the lessons in the assigned teaching module.

- Fully prepare teaching aids, equipment, materials, and practice fuels needed.

3. Criterion 3 on Implementing Teaching Activities

- Organize teaching activities suitable for the trained profession and specific groups of learners; fully implement the teaching plan, ensuring the program's content and structure.

- Conduct theory, practice, and integrated teaching hours according to regulations.

- Apply various teaching methods to promote learners' active and proactive learning.

- Proficiently use teaching aids and equipment to enhance teaching effectiveness and ensure the quality of vocational education.

4. Criterion 4 on Assessing and Evaluating Learners' Study Results

- Select and design testing and evaluation tools suitable for the assigned teaching module.

- Conduct comprehensive, accurate, educational, and conformable assessments; utilize the results to adjust teaching and learning activities.

5. Criterion 5 on Managing Teaching Records

- Fully implement the regulations on using forms, books, and teaching records.

- Preserve, store, and utilize teaching records as per regulations.

6. Criterion 6 on Developing Programs, Compiling Curricula, and Teaching Materials

- Understand the bases, principles, requirements, and processes for developing primary-level training programs.

- Participate in revising programs, curricula, and primary-level training materials.

7. Criterion 7 on Developing Plans and Implementing Educational Activities

- Implement professional ethics and attitude education through module teaching as per the pre-built plan.

- Accurately, fairly, and educationally evaluate learners' ethical training results according to regulations.

8. Criterion 8 on Managing Learners and Creating an Educational and Learning Environment

- Manage information related to learners.

- Create a healthy, favorable, democratic, and cooperative educational and learning environment.

9. Criterion 9 on Social Activities

- Coordinate with learners' families and the community to motivate, support, and monitor the learners' studying and training.

- Participate in social activities within and outside the vocational education institution.
