Circular 52/2014/TT-BCA stipulates the responsibilities of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Agency as follows:
- Guide and uniformly implement the management, preservation, and maintenance of fire prevention and fighting equipment nationwide;- Direct, monitor, and inspect the implementation of management, preservation, and maintenance of fire prevention and fighting equipment according to regulations;- Research and propose the organization of machinery and staffing to perform the management, preservation, and maintenance tasks of fire prevention and fighting equipment within the People's Police;- Research, improve, repair, and produce experimental fire prevention and fighting equipment; compile technical documents guiding the use, preservation, and maintenance of fire prevention and fighting equipment;- Inspect and handle violations according to authority or recommend the competent agency to handle violations in the management, preservation, and maintenance of fire prevention and fighting equipment;- Guide and resolve complaints and denunciations in the management, preservation, and maintenance of fire prevention and fighting equipment according to the provisions of law.
