On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (Bo Lao Dong - Thuong Binh va Xa Hoi - BLDTBXH) issued Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college levels in the fields of mechanical engineering technology.
Introduction to Automobile Assembly at Intermediate Level - Illustration
According to the regulations on minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level, and college level in the automobile assembly industry, issued alongside Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that the intermediate level in automobile assembly is a profession where practitioners use machines and equipment to assemble a complete automobile based on imported materials and components (CKD) and localized materials and components. The assembly process is carried out on automobile assembly technology lines that meet technical, safety, and environmental protection standards according to regulations, fulfilling the requirements of level 4 in Vietnam's National Qualifications Framework.
Practitioners work on technology lines with continuous and high-intensity tasks. This requires practitioners to be in good health, withstand high work pressure, and be well-trained to proficiently perform the tasks to complete the progress on time, ensuring the safety of the product users, and requiring assembly workers to ensure accuracy in every detail, with carefulness and a high sense of responsibility.
Minimum knowledge volume: 1,400 hours (equivalent to 50 credits).
Note that upon graduation, learners will have the capacity to meet the requirements for job positions in the industry, including:
- Assembly of clusters;- Assembly of chassis;- Interior assembly;- Final assembly.
Additionally, the minimum knowledge volume, competencies that learners must achieve upon graduation in the Automobile Assembly profession at the intermediate level can continue to be developed at higher levels. Graduates have the capability for self-study, self-updating scientific-technological advancements within the profession to enhance their level or to pursue further studies at higher levels in the same profession or within the group of professions or in the same training field.
