To be specific, in Article 13 of the Regulations on economic-technical norms for meteorological and hydrological data work issued together with Circular 39/2013/TT-BTNMT, regulations on weather radar observational data (conducted online) include:

- Data acquisition;- Data control:- Launching display software;- Registering data into display software;- Displaying newly registered data;- Opening each “prd” product according to each observation cycle, measuring the radio feedback value on the PPI (Z), ETOP, CMAX products... summarizing and analyzing the information to evaluate the implementation of observation policies, creating products, and storing station information;- Checking the station's observation time and observation radius to see if it complies with the regulations;- Opening VolumeScan file to check the number of elevation angles to verify that the observation and product creation are in accordance with the regulations;- Checking the stability of the radio feedback signal according to the fixed object radio feedback (once/day);

- Quality assessment of basic investigation:

- Assessing the quality of daily observational data following the issued basic investigation quality assessment regulations;- Summarizing the monthly basic investigation quality assessment of a station;- Summarizing the errors encountered by the station;- Identifying and removing interference products due to weather conditions or radar;- Checking the consistency between data and operational status reports according to the station's reports;- Evaluating the compliance with shift policies, reporting, and equipment status;- Assessing the station quality following the issued basic investigation quality assessment regulations;- Writing a comprehensive report assessing the overall network quality of basic investigations.
