This is one of the contents stipulated in Circular 33/2014/TT-BKHCN Promulgating the regulation on management of ministerial-level science and technology tasks of the Ministry of Science and Technology, issued on November 06, 2014.
Circular 33: Requirements for Ministry-level Science and Technology Programs (Illustrative Image)
According to the provisions at point b clause 1 Article 3 Circular 33/2014/TT-BKHCN, requirements for Ministry-level science and technology programs are stipulated as follows:
- The objective must be to create scientific and technological outcomes that serve priority development orientations under the management of the Ministry of Science and Technology in: developing scientific and technological potentials in one or several fields; developing priority technology directions; developing key, principal products; The results of scientific and technological tasks must demonstrate novelty, advancement, high applicability, and meet the program's objectives.
- The content must include Ministry-level scientific and technological tasks that are directly or indirectly related to each other in specialty.
- The implementation period of the Ministry-level science and technology program shall not exceed 10 years from the time of approval, and the implementation time of specific scientific and technological tasks must comply with the regulations for each type of task.
A Ministry-level science and technology program is a scientific and technological task with the general objective to solve scientific and technological issues serving the medium-term or long-term development and application of science and technology under the management of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Ministry-level science and technology program is implemented in the form of a collection of Ministry-level scientific and technological tasks (scientific and technological topics, pilot production projects, scientific and technological projects).
