Cases Requiring Ad hoc Reporting in Internal Affairs Work

On November 24, 2016, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued Circular 06/2016/TT-BNV, specifically listing the cases that require extraordinary reporting in the internal affairs work.

Circular 06 specifically lists the cases of urgent reports as follows:

- Urgent reports as per the requirements of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, the Minister of Home Affairs (with documents for each specific case).- Reports in case of important, urgent, and complicated developments related to the field of Home Affairs.

Report contents: Summarize the situation and developments of the incident and causes; measures taken to handle and the results achieved; proposals and recommendations to the competent authorities.

Additionally, Circular 06 also stipulates that reports must be made immediately when incidents occur or are likely to occur. Information and reports should be sent by the fastest means, with regular updates on the developments of the incident, minimizing the situation of reporting after the incident has ended.

See details Circular 06/2016/TT-BNV, which came into effect on January 01, 2017.
