Recently, Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH was issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) to regulate the minimum amount of knowledge and the competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications.
Mechatronics Industry, Intermediate Level - Illustration
In the regulations on minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating intermediate and college levels in mechatronics industry and profession promulgated together with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that the intermediate level of mechatronics is a profession where practitioners perform tasks such as designing, assembling, connecting, maintaining, and providing related services for mechatronic products and automated equipment systems, meeting level 4 requirements in the National Qualification Framework of Vietnam.
Workers in the Mechatronics profession can work in various positions in factories manufacturing and assembling mechatronic products, automated production lines, companies providing repair and maintenance services for mechatronic products, companies supplying mechatronic equipment, and customer care for mechatronic products and services.
The main tasks of the mechatronics profession include: Designing mechatronic systems; analyzing the structure and operation of mechatronic systems; assembling, operating, and maintaining mechanical, electrical-electronic, hydraulic-pneumatic equipment systems, and automated systems using controllers; installing and operating automated equipment and systems; handling incidents in mechatronic equipment systems; organizing production in groups, and training lower-level workers.
Minimum knowledge volume: 1,600 hours (equivalent to 57 credits).
Note, after graduation, learners must have the capacity to meet the job position requirements of the profession, including:
- Processing mechanical parts;- Assembling mechanics in mechatronic systems;- Assembling electrical, electronic systems in mechatronic systems;- Assembling pneumatic, hydraulic systems in mechatronic systems;- Operating and supervising mechatronic systems;- Programming to control mechatronic systems;- Programming and operating industrial robots;- Maintaining and upgrading mechatronic systems;- Doing business in the mechatronics field.
