Amendment and Supplementation of Airport Operation Documents

On September 19, 2018, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 51/2018/TT-BGTVT amending and supplementing certain provisions of Circular 17/2016/TT-BGTVT on the operation of airports and airfields. Notably, the amendment and supplementation of airport operational documentation are included in the regulations.

According to Circular 51, airport operators must amend and supplement airport operation documents when there are changes related to the contents of the airport operation documents, and submit them to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam for approval.

The application dossier includes:

- Application document for approval;- Draft amendments and supplements to the document;- Documents evidencing the amendments and supplements;- Quantity of dossiers: 01 set.

Within 05 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier in accordance with regulations, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam will organize the review, factual inspection, approve the amendments and supplements to the document, or notify in writing the reasons for the refusal to approve to the applicant.

Circular 51/2018/TT-BGTVT takes effect from November 05, 2018.
