Circular 17/2017/TT-BLDTBXH on the Regulation of student activities in intermediate schools and colleges was issued on June 30, 2017. Notably, in this Circular, there are regulations on activities that students are prohibited from doing. To be specific:
First, to insult the dignity, honor, reputation, and to violate the physical body of teachers, management staff, public employees, workers, and other students within the institution.
Second, to commit fraud in learning, testing, and examinations, and to falsify documents to enjoy policies for students.
Third, to arbitrarily skip classes, internships, or practice sessions without the institution’s approval.
Fourth, to attend classes while intoxicated.
Fifth, to cause disturbances to security and order within the institution and in public places.
Sixth, to intentionally violate traffic safety regulations.
Seventh, to organize or participate in gambling in any form.
Eighth, to produce, buy, sell, transport, distribute, use, store, or induce others to use weapons, explosives, flammables, toxic substances, drugs, narcotics, and other prohibited substances; to possess or spread documents and publications with content that is reactionary, depraved, contrary to the national culture's tradition and identity, and other prohibited materials as stipulated by the State; to organize or participate in superstitious activities and other violations within the institution.
Ninth, to post, comment, or share writings and images with vulgar, depraved, violent, reactionary content; to infringe on national security; to oppose the Communist Party and the State; to distort, slander, or insult the reputation and honor of organizations and individuals on the Internet.
Tenth, to organize or participate in other illegal activities.
Circular 17/2017/TT-BLDTBXH takes effect on August 14, 2017.
