05 Responsibilities of the Members of the Film Production Council in 2020

According to Circular 03/2020/TT-BVHTTDL, from August 6, 2020, members of the Council, Advisory Group assisting the Council in selecting film production projects using state budget funds have the following responsibilities:

- Members of the Council and the Advisory Group assisting the Council have the responsibility to contribute opinions, provide comments, evaluations, calculations, and propose optimal film production plans in accordance with current regulations.- Members of the Council are responsible for attending Council meetings; in case of absence, they must report to the Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the Council and submit their opinions before the Council meeting.- The Chairman of the Council is the spokesperson of the Council. Council members and the Advisory Group assisting the Council are not allowed to disclose the content of discussions and conclusions of the Council.- Members of the Advisory Group assisting the Council are responsible for reviewing the project files for film production, preparing professional opinions before the working sessions of the Advisory Group assisting the Council, preparing the Council meeting minutes, and related documents.- In case a Council member or a member of the Advisory Group assisting the Council is absent from the Council meetings three consecutive times without a legitimate reason, the project selection agency will consider recommending the Investor to issue a dismissal decision and suggest or appoint a substitute.
