04 Conditions for Recognizing Achievement of Training Program Quality Standards

This is an important regulation stipulated in Circular 38/2013/TT-BGDD, which provides the process and cycle of quality assessment for training programs of universities, colleges, and professional secondary schools.

A training program is recognized as meeting education quality standards when it meets the conditions listed in the Regulations on the process and cycle of accreditation of training programs for universities, colleges, and professional secondary schools issued together with Circular 38/2013/TT-BGDD, specifically as follows:

- At least one cohort of students has graduated at the time of completion of the self-assessment report.- It has undergone external evaluation and there is a written proposal requesting the education quality accreditation organization to consider recognizing it as meeting education quality standards. For training programs that require information confidentiality according to State regulations, the educational institution has a written proposal requesting to send the external evaluation results to the supervising agency and simultaneously proposing the recognition of the training program as meeting education quality standards.- The external evaluation results, the content of the resolution, and the recommendations of the Education Quality Accreditation Council are publicly announced on the website of the education quality accreditation organization according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 27 of these Regulations. For training programs that require information confidentiality according to State regulations, the educational institution sends the external evaluation results, the content of the resolution, and the recommendations of the Council to the supervising agency at least 30 days in advance to seek consent before being considered for recognition by the education quality accreditation organization.- The training program has at least 80% of criteria meeting requirements, of which each standard has at least 50% of criteria meeting requirements according to the education quality evaluation results of the Education Quality Accreditation Council.
