What is Meant by a Customs Transit Declaration?
According to Clause 2, Article 3 of Decree No. 46/2020/ND-CP, the concept of a customs transit declaration is defined as follows:
A customs transit declaration is an electronic customs declaration containing information that a customs declarant must provide when performing the transit procedures for goods through the ACTS system.
A customs transit declaration is used solely for declaring transit goods transported on a single vehicle of a single transit journey through the ACTS system.
