Wearing the Kepi Correctly in the Customs Sector
Based on Article 7 of the Regulation on the management and use of uniforms in the customs sector (attached to Decision 1062/QD-TCHQ dated April 9, 2021, of the General Director of the General Department of Customs) the provisions are as follows:
Kepi hats and soft hats are to be worn with the corresponding customs uniforms and in the following cases:
a) Working, studying, training, and attending ceremonies outdoors (except when using motorcycles or scooters, wherein helmets as prescribed by law must be worn).
b) Awarding and receiving orders, medals, state honorary titles, and other forms of awards.
Hats must have the Customs insignia attached. When wearing a hat, it must be worn properly, with the Customs insignia facing forward, and the kepi hat's chin strap fastened closely to the chin.
When entering a workplace, hats should not be worn, and must be placed neatly on a rack or hung on the wall (in a respectful place) according to the unit's unified regulations. If placed on a rack, the Customs insignia should face outward; if hung on the wall, the Customs insignia should face downward.
When attending classes, training sessions, industry conferences, if there is a work desk, hats should be placed to the left side of the seat, with the Customs insignia facing forward.
Respectfully!
