Standards for Appointing Deputy Heads of Departments in Preventive Health Units, Research Units, Inspection, and Testing Units of the Ministry of Health
Standards for Appointing Department Heads in Preventive Medicine Units, Research Units, Inspection, and Testing Units under the Ministry of Health
Pursuant to Article 13 of Decision 2969/QD-BYT dated 2021, the standards for appointing Department Heads in preventive medicine units, research units, inspection, and testing units under the Ministry of Health are as follows:
- Professional Qualifications:
a) Departments/Specialized divisions: Master's degree or first-level specialist physician or equivalent or higher, with a training major suitable for the field and work responsibilities;
b) Administrative (functional) departments/divisions: University degree or higher, with a major suitable for the field and work responsibilities.
- Political and Management Theory Qualifications:
a) Graduated from intermediate level political theory or higher;
b) Holds a certificate in management training for departmental officers or equivalent.
- Experience in Work and Management: Has held a departmental management position or equivalent for at least 1 year, or has worked in the relevant field for at least 5 years (excluding probationary period).
Standards for Appointing Deputy Department Heads in Preventive Medicine Units, Research Units, Inspection, and Testing Units under the Ministry of Health
Pursuant to Article 14 of this Decision, the standards for appointing Deputy Department Heads in preventive medicine units, research units, inspection, and testing units under the Ministry of Health are as follows:
- Professional Qualifications:
a) Specialized departments/divisions: Master's degree or first-level specialist physician or equivalent or higher, with a training major suitable for the field and work responsibilities;
b) Administrative departments/divisions: University degree or higher, with a major suitable for the field and work responsibilities.
- Political and Management Theory Qualifications:
a) Graduated from intermediate level political theory or higher;
b) Holds a certificate in management training for departmental officers or equivalent.
- Experience in Work and Management: Has worked in the relevant field for at least 3 years (excluding probationary period).
