Regulations on the Management of Construction Progress
According to Article 18 of Decree 06/2021/ND-CP, regulations on managing construction progress are as follows:
Before initiating construction, the contractor must establish a construction schedule that aligns with the contract duration and the project's overall timeline, which must be approved by the investor.
For large-scale construction projects with extended construction periods, the construction schedule must be established for each stage on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
The investor, the investor's construction supervision department, the construction contractor, and relevant parties are responsible for monitoring and supervising the construction progress and adjusting the schedule in cases where the construction progress of certain stages is delayed, without affecting the overall project timeline.
If it is deemed that the overall construction progress of the project has been prolonged, the investor must report to the investment decision-maker to decide on adjusting the overall timeline.
