A fine ranging from VND 500,000 to VND 2,000,000 shall be imposed for any of the following acts:
Allowing a foreigner to stay overnight without reporting temporary residence, failing to guide the foreigner to report temporary residence as stipulated, or failing to comply with other regulations of the competent authority.
Therefore, the administrative penalty for your conduct ranges from VND 500,000 to VND 2,000,000. As such, the imposition of a VND 1,500,000 fine by the competent authority is justified.
