According to the provisions of Clause 7a, Article 23, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP regulating penalties for drivers of passenger vehicles as follows:
A fine ranging from 5,000,000 VND to 7,000,000 VND shall be imposed for one of the following violations:
Picking up or dropping off passengers on the highway.
Thus, if the car driver operates the vehicle beyond the allowed time, they may be fined from 3,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND. Additionally, the driver may have their driver's license revoked for 02 months to 04 months according to Clause 8b, Article 23 of this Decree.
