Penalties for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Obeying Traffic Signal Lights
At Point a, Clause 4, Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
Article 5. Penalties for drivers of cars and similar vehicles violating road traffic rules
A fine ranging from VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers committing one of the following violations: Including:
- Failing to comply with traffic signal lights;
In addition, the above violation will result in the revocation of the driver's license for a period from 1 month to 3 months. In cases where the above-mentioned violation causes a traffic accident, the driver's license will be revoked for a period from 2 months to 4 months.
