How Are Violations of Regulations Regarding No-Smoking Areas Penalized?
According to Article 23 of Decree 176/2013/ND-CP regulating violations pertaining to designated smoking areas as follows:

| – Smoking in areas where smoking is prohibited. In the case of smoking on an aircraft, follow the regulations on administrative penalties in the field of civil aviation; – Disposing of cigarette butts or ashes improperly while smoking in designated smoking areas. |

| – Failing to display a sign with the words or symbol "No Smoking" in designated non-smoking areas; – Failing to request violators to cease smoking within their premises; – Failing to organize, instruct, inspect, and supervise the implementation of smoking bans in areas under their management and control. |
Fine ranging from 3,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND |
| – Lacking separate rooms and ventilation systems for smoking areas; – Lacking containers for cigarette butts and ashes; – Failing to display appropriate and easily observed signs; – Lacking fire prevention and fighting equipment. |
