Example of Alternative Measures for Handling Administrative Violations?

Based on Clause 4, Article 2 of the Law on Handling Administrative Violations 2012, Point a, Clause 72, Article 1 of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Handling Administrative Violations 2020 (Effective from January 1, 2022), the following content is stipulated:

Alternative measures to handle administrative violations are educational measures applied to replace administrative penalties or administrative handling measures for minors who commit administrative violations, including measures such as reminding, community-based education, and family management.

For example: In the case of a 13-year-old who drives a motorcycle on their own, family management measures may be used, with the parents acting as the direct guardians managing the child’s behavior.
