Are Bus Employees Not Wearing Uniforms Subject to Penalties?
According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 31 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, the penalties for violations committed by bus staff are as follows:
A fine ranging from VND 80,000 to VND 100,000 shall be imposed for any of the following violations:
- Failure to assist elderly passengers, children who cannot independently get on and off the bus, persons with motor impairments, or persons with visual impairments;
- Failure to wear a uniform or a name tag as required for service staff on the bus.

Thus, a bus staff member who does not wear a uniform is committing a violation and shall be administratively fined. For this violation, the fine ranges from VND 80,000 to VND 100,000.
