Amendments altering the content of the license for eligibility to operate a discotheque business: What are the penalties?
Pursuant to Point c, Clause 5, Article 15 of Decree 38/2021/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
A fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of modifying, erasing, or adding content that alters the content of the license qualifying the business for karaoke services or discotheque services.
Thus, the act of modifying the content of the license qualifying the business for discotheque services shall result in a fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000. Additionally, confiscation of the violating assets will be enforced (Point b, Clause 9).
Note, this penalty applies to individual violators; in the case of organizational violators, the fine will be doubled (Clauses 2 and 3, Article 5 of this Decree).
