Which preferential policies will people who contributed to the revolution receive?
People who have contributed to the revolution will enjoy preferential policies as stipulated in Article 39 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution 2020. To be specific:
- Preferential regime for those awarded or whose families are awarded the "Nation Gratitude" Insignia or the "Meritorious to the Nation" Certificate before the August Revolution in 1945 includes:
- Monthly allowance; in the case of a solitary life, additional monthly nurturing allowance shall be given;- Health insurance;- Annual health rehabilitation;- Preferential policies as prescribed in points c, d, dd, e, g, h, i, and k, clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance.
- Preferential regime for those awarded or whose families are awarded the Resistance War Order includes:
- Monthly allowance; in the case of a solitary life, additional monthly nurturing allowance shall be given;- Health insurance;- Health rehabilitation every two years;- Preferential policies as prescribed in points e and g, clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance.
- Preferential regime for those awarded or whose families are awarded the Resistance War Medal includes:
- One-time allowance;- Health insurance;- Preferential policies as prescribed in points e and g, clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance.
- Those recognized and enjoying preferential policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution as stipulated in points a, b, or 1, clause 1, Article 3 of this Ordinance shall not enjoy the preferential policies stipulated in this Article.
