What Responsibilities Do Youth Have Towards Their Homeland?

Pursuant to Article 12 of the Youth Law 2020 (effective from January 1, 2021), the responsibilities of youth to the Nation are stipulated as follows:

- Promote the tradition of founding and defending the nation; be active, creative, and take the lead in the renovation, construction, and protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

- Be ready to defend the Nation, protect independence, maintain sovereignty, national security, unity, and territorial integrity; undertake challenging, arduous, and urgent tasks when the Nation demands.

- Fight against schemes and activities that harm the national and ethnic interests.

The above are the responsibilities of youth to the Nation as stipulated by the Youth Law 2020.
