Based on Article 112 of the Labor Code 2019 regarding holidays:
Article 112. Holidays
- Employees are entitled to full-paid days off on the following holidays:
a) New Year: 01 day (January 01, solar calendar);
b) Lunar New Year: 05 days;
c) Victory Day: 01 day (April 30, solar calendar);
d) International Labor Day: 01 day (May 01, solar calendar);
dd) National Day: 02 days (September 02, solar calendar and 01 contiguous day prior or after);
e) Hung Kings' Commemoration Day: 01 day (March 10, lunar calendar).
- Foreign employees in Vietnam, in addition to the days off specified in Clause 1 of this Article, are also entitled to one traditional New Year holiday and one National Day of their country.
- Annually, based on actual conditions, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam decides specific days off specified in Point b and Point dd, Clause 1 of this Article.

- Officials and public employees, as well as employees of administrative agencies, public service providers, political organizations, and socio-political organizations (hereinafter referred to as officials and public employees) will have a break during the Lunar New Year 2025 from Saturday, January 25, 2025, solar calendar (equivalent to the 26th of the last month of the Year of the Dragon) until the end of Sunday, February 2, 2025, solar calendar (equivalent to the 5th of the first month of the Year of the Snake). This break includes 05 days of Lunar New Year and 04 weekly days off.

- For employees not under the scope specified in Clause 1 of this Notice, employers will decide the Lunar New Year, National Day, Victory Day April 30, and International Labor Day May 1, 2025, holiday schedule as follows:
- For Lunar New Year: choose 01 day at the end of the Year of the Dragon and 04 days at the beginning of the Year of the Snake or 02 days at the end of the Year of the Dragon and 03 days at the beginning of the Year of the Snake or 03 days at the end of the Year of the Dragon and 02 days at the beginning of the Year of the Snake.
- For National Day holiday: Tuesday, September 2, 2025, solar calendar, and choose 01 of the 02 days: Monday, September 1, 2025, or Wednesday, September 3, 2025, solar calendar.
- Notify the Lunar New Year and National Day holiday schedule for 2025 to the employees at least 30 days before implementation.
- If a weekly day off coincides with the holiday, as stipulated in Clause 1 of Article 112 of the Labor Code, employees are entitled to a compensatory weekly day off on the next working day as stipulated in Clause 3 of Article 111 of the Labor Code.

- For officials and public employees: Lunar New Year holiday 2025 from January 25, 2025 (equivalent to the 26th of the last month of the Year of the Dragon) until the end of February 2, 2025 (equivalent to the 5th of the first month of the Year of the Snake), totaling 9 days.
