What is low-altitude fireworks? Is a firing range of 120 meters considered low or high-altitude fireworks?
Recently, I have heard discussions about fireworks and firecrackers but have not clearly understood what low-altitude fireworks are. So, what is low-altitude fireworks? Additionally, I would like to ask if fireworks with a firing range of 120 meters are considered low-altitude or high-altitude fireworks, given a diameter of approximately 70 mm.1. Based on Clause 3, Article 3 of Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP on the management and use of fireworks, the content is stipulated as follows:
Low altitude fireworks display is the use of specialized technical equipment to propel fireworks to a height not exceeding 120 meters. High altitude fireworks display is the use of specialized launching tubes and shooting devices to propel fireworks to a height above 120 meters.
Low altitude fireworks display is the use of specialized technical equipment to propel fireworks to a height not exceeding 120 meters.
2. Is a 120-meter range fireworks display considered low altitude or high altitude?
Based on Point a, Clause 1, Article 3 of Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP, the regulations are as follows:
Fireworks are products manufactured by handcraft or industrial processes, which, when triggered by mechanical, thermal, chemical, or electrical stimuli, produce explosions or whistling sounds, explosions, and color effects in space;
Fireworks that produce whistling sounds, explosions, and color effects in space are referred to as exploding fireworks;
Low altitude exploding fireworks are fireworks with a diameter not exceeding 90 mm or a range not exceeding 120 meters. High altitude exploding fireworks are fireworks with a diameter above 90 mm or a range above 120 meters;
Thus, low altitude exploding fireworks are fireworks with a diameter not exceeding 90 mm or a range not exceeding 120 meters. High altitude exploding fireworks are fireworks with a diameter above 90 mm or a range above 120 meters. In the case of fireworks with a diameter of 70 mm and a range of 120 meters, they are considered low altitude exploding fireworks.
