Instructions for making quarterly specialized population statistics reports in Vietnam
According to Appendix IV Form and Guidelines for recording district-level specialized statistical reports on population (issued together with Circular 01/2022/TT-BYT effective on March 1, 2022), guiding preparation of quarterly specialized population statistics reports (Table 01-DSH) are as follows:
1. Purpose: Providing an overview of the population situation, population changes, results of family planning service provision, population quality improvement, periodical health check-up for the elderly in the locality. Evaluating the results of propaganda and mobilization on population and human resources to carry out population work.
2. How to summarize and record:
Enter the name of the place (in capitals) on the top right of the table and the quarter of the report year.
Column 1 is the data of the whole district: The data is obtained by adding the data of the communes in the district (adding the data columns).
The names from column 2 to the last column are the names of communes in the district.
a) The following lines are summarized from Table 01-DSX, Table 02-DSX
- Lines (1) to (3), (5) to (10), (18) and (19), (26) and (27): Table 02-DSX.
- Lines (4), (11) to (17): Add 3 monthly reporting periods of Table 01-DSX.
b) The following lines are summed up from the report of the health facility at the district level or below
+ Line (20): Summarize data from Table 01-DS/CSYT
+ Lines (21) and (22): Summarize data from Table 02-DS/CSYT
+ Lines (23) and (24): Summarize data from Table 03-DS/CSYT.
+ Line (25): Summarize data from Table 04-DS/CSYT.
c) The following lines are compiled from the data of the district-level population agency.
(28) Number of times of mobile communication on population work in industrial parks, high schools, and hard-to-reach areas in the district during the quarter.
(29) Number of times of population propaganda on district radio in the quarter.
(30) and (31) Synthesize actual data on population collaborators in the area.
Note: Compare the new number using the BPTT at the reporting period with the data in Table 07/BCH. Contraception and abortion implementation activities as prescribed in Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BYT.
3. Data source : District-level specialized population data warehouse and information reported by health facilities providing population services, non-public health facilities as assigned by the Department of Health (if any), the focal unit in charge of population work at commune and district levels.
