A martyrs memorial project is a historical and cultural work to honor, pay tribute to martyrs, and educate about the revolutionary tradition.
The martyrs memorial project is constructed in alignment with local planning, customs, and practices, ensuring solemnity, aesthetics, and durability.
The martyrs memorial project includes:
a) Martyrs' cemeteries;
b) Martyrs' monuments;
c) Martyrs' temples;
d) Memorial steles inscribing martyrs' names.
How are Martyrs' Graves regulated?
Martyrs' graves are regulated in Article 42 of this Ordinance:
A martyrs' grave is the burial site of the bodies or remains of martyrs.
Martyrs' graves within the same martyrs' cemetery are constructed uniformly in size and design.
The content on the martyrs' grave markers is uniformly inscribed in accordance with the regulations of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs.
Martyrs' graves with complete burial information in the martyrs' cemetery may be relocated according to the wishes of the relatives or the persons who maintain the martyrs' worship.
How is the management of the Martyrs Memorial Project and Martyrs' Graves conducted?
Based on Article 43 of this Ordinance, the regulations on the management of the martyrs memorial project and martyrs' graves are as follows:
The martyrs memorial project shall be managed, repaired, maintained, and regularly cared for.
The State encourages organizations and individuals to participate in caring for and preserving the martyrs memorial project and martyrs' graves.
Martyrs' graves are documented and managed by the responsible agency.
