What day is October 31?
October 31 is known as Halloween, one of the most popular and exciting holidays in many countries around the world, especially in Western countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Halloween is like a New Year's Day, a major festival for people in Western countries. This day is celebrated annually on the last day of October, starting in the late afternoon until midnight. People will dress up as scary characters or any character they like, then go door-to-door to receive candy and offer greetings.
The Halloween festival is first celebrated on the evening before (October 31) All Saints' Day (November 1) and ends with All Souls' Day (November 2). These are three consecutive days and are celebrated to honor saints who have or have not ascended to Heaven, including the ancient Celtic goddess of harvest.
Nowadays, as global culture has gradually integrated, Halloween has become a cultural event in many countries with different religions and customs, including Vietnam.
Therefore, October 31 every year is Halloween.
