Conditions for visiting the graves of martyrs in Vietnam
Based on Clause 1 Article 157 of Decree 131/2021/ND-CP (Effective from 15/02/2022) stipulating the conditions for visiting the graves of martyrs as follows:
- The martyr is listed in the list of martyrs at the martyrs' cemetery in the country.
- The martyr has information on the place of sacrifice in the country based on one of the following documents: a certified copy of the martyr's record file issued by the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs where the original file is managed; a certified copy from the confirmation document on the place of martyrdom according to Form No. 44 in this Decree.

The documentation and procedures for visiting the graves of martyrs in Vietnam
In Article 158 of Decree 131/2021/ND-CP (Effective from 15/02/2022) stipulating the documentation and procedures for visiting the graves of martyrs as follows:
- Individuals visiting the graves of martyrs submit to the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs in the locality where the original file of the martyr is managed the following documents:
+ Request form to visit the graves of martyrs according to Form No. 31 in this Decree.
+ A certified copy from one of the following documents: family certificate or relatives of the martyr; decision on offering incense to the martyr.
+ One of the following documents:
For cases where the martyr's grave has complete information: notification of the martyr's grave from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs managing the grave.
For cases where the specific grave in the martyrs' cemetery has not been identified: confirmation document from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs managing the grave regarding being listed in the management list of the cemetery; a certified copy from the confirmation document on the place of martyrdom according to Form No. 44 in this Decree.
- The Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs in the locality where the original file of the martyr is managed is responsible for verifying and issuing a visiting introduction document for the martyr's grave according to Form No. 42 in this Decree within 03 working days from the date of receiving all documents.
- The People's Committee at the commune level where the grave is managed or in the locality where the martyr sacrificed within 01 working day is responsible for confirming on the visiting introduction document for the martyr's grave.
- Individuals visiting the martyr's grave submit the confirmed visiting introduction document to the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs in the locality where the original file of the martyr is managed to receive support.
- The Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs in the locality where the original file of the martyr is managed provides support for visiting the martyr's grave within 02 working days from the date of receiving the confirmed introduction document from the People's Committee at the commune level where the visit is made or in the locality where the martyr sacrificed.
