Responsibilities of Social Organizations in Youth Work
Pursuant to Article 32 of the Youth Law 2020 (effective from January 01, 2021), the provisions stipulate that social organizations have the following responsibilities regarding youth work:
- Mobilize their members to create conditions for youth to study, work, participate in cultural, physical, and sports activities, develop physical and intellectual capacities; foster ethics, national traditions, and civic awareness; take the lead in creative labor and national defense.
- Coordinate with state management agencies on youth in the development and implementation of policies and laws concerning youth.
- Coordinate with youth organizations to care for and protect the legal and legitimate rights and interests of youth.
- Support resources in accordance with the law and the charter of the social organization to develop youth.
Above are the responsibilities of social organizations in youth work as stipulated in the Youth Law 2020.
