Requirements to Become a Member of the Vietnam Writers' Association: Must Have Published Works
Based on Clause 2, Article 8 of the Charter of the Vietnam Writers' Association (Issued together with Decision 1685/QD-TTg in 2021), which stipulates the membership standards as follows:
Official members of the Association: Vietnamese citizens who are writers meeting the criteria set forth in Clause 2 of this Article, agree with the Charter of the Association, voluntarily join the Association, and are reviewed and recognized as official members by the Executive Committee of the Association.
Membership standards: Vietnamese citizens who are writers active in the field of Vietnamese literature, engaging in literary creation for the benefit of the Vietnamese nation, and who have published works of value (with at least 02 independently published works that are well-reviewed).
Thus, one of the prerequisite conditions is to have valuable published works (at least 02 independently published works that are well-reviewed).
