Reporting Period and Methods for Submitting Specialized Statistical Reports on Population Regulations
Specialized Population Statistics Reporting Period
Based on Clause 1, Article 3 of Circular 01/2022/TT-BYT, the specialized population statistics reporting period is specified as follows:
- The reporting period is calculated from the 1st day of the reporting period to the end of the last day of the reporting period, based on the calendar year, including:
+ Monthly statistical report is calculated from the 1st day of the reporting month to the end of the last day of the reporting month;
+ Quarterly statistical report (3 months) is calculated from the 1st day of the first month to the end of the last day of the third month of the reporting period;
+ Annual statistical report is calculated from January 1 to December 31 of the reporting year;
- Statistics reported up to the end of the period are calculated on the last day of the reporting period, based on the calendar year, including:
+ Quarterly statistical report up to the end of the quarter: March 31 is the last day of the first quarter; June 30 is the last day of the second quarter; September 30 is the last day of the third quarter; December 31 is the end of the fourth quarter of the reporting year;
+ Annual statistical report up to the end of the year: December 31 of the reporting year;
- Irregular reports: In cases where information and data are required to serve the state management of population, the General Department of Population - Family Planning or the focal unit responsible for population work shall send a written request to the reporting unit, specifying the scope, deadline, and content of the reporting criteria as stipulated in Point d, Point e, Clause 2, Article 1 of this Circular.
Method of Submitting Specialized Population Reports
According to Clause 2 of this Article, the method of submitting specialized population reports is specified as follows:
- Electronic documents are presented in one of the following forms:
+ Electronic documents in the form of electronic files, pdf files of paper reports that have been authenticated by the reporting unit;
+ Reports via software applications as prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
