Rehabilitation Center Students Receive Support for Community Reintegration

Based on Article 30 of Decree 221/2013/ND-CP stipulates community reintegration support as follows:

Three months before the end of the term of mandatory rehabilitation in the rehabilitation center, the counseling officer shall guide the trainee to prepare a community reintegration plan.

Forty-five days before the end of the term of mandatory rehabilitation, the rehabilitation center shall send a notification about the trainee's preparation for community reintegration to the People's Committee of the commune where the trainee resides, along with the trainee’s requirements needing support from the family and the community to formulate and implement the community reintegration plan when the trainee returns to the locality.

The rehabilitation center is responsible for advising the trainee on community reintegration: policies, medical services related to drug rehabilitation and HIV infection prevention; job creation support; post-rehabilitation clubs, rehabilitation task forces, volunteer social work teams, and self-help groups in the localities where the trainee resides.
