Regulations on Vehicles Serving State Funerals
Based on Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular 166/2018/TT-BQP, the following regulations are set forth:
- Vehicles serving the State Funeral (calculated for one ceremony unit including 15 cars and 01 A-type hearse) include:
+ Command vehicles: 03 cars (01 car carrying the National flag, portrait, and medal pillow; 01 car carrying the Military flag; 01 command car).
+ Transport vehicles: 06 cars (carrying the honor guard unit).
+ Three-axis transport vehicles: 03 cars (01 car towing the hearse, 01 car carrying flowers, 01 reserve car).
+ Information vehicles: 02 cars.
+ Ambulance: 01 car.
+ A-type hearse: 01 car (the end of the hearse carries a 122mm howitzer).
- Vehicles serving the State level funeral (calculated for one ceremony unit including 11 cars and 01 B-type hearse) include:
+ Command vehicles: 02 cars (01 car carrying the Military flag, portrait, and medal pillow; 01 command car).
+ Transport vehicles: 03 cars (carrying the honor guard unit).
+ Three-axis transport vehicles: 03 cars (01 car towing the hearse, 01 car carrying flowers, 01 reserve car).
+ Information vehicles: 02 cars.
+ Ambulance: 01 car.
+ B-type hearse: 01 car (the end of the hearse has a platform with the inscription "The Nation Honors").
- In addition to the provisions at Points a and b, Clause 1 of this Article, the quantity and type of service and reserve vehicles are determined by the Head of the Ministry of National Defense based on the mission requirements.
