Regulations on Press Interviews
Pursuant to Article 40 of the 2016 Press Law, the provisions are as follows:
- The interviewer must inform the interviewee in advance of the purpose, requirements, and interview questions; in cases where a direct interview is needed without prior notice, the consent of the interviewee must be obtained.
- After the interview, based on the information and materials provided by the interviewee, the interviewer has the right to present the information in suitable forms. The interviewer must accurately and truthfully represent the interviewee's responses.
The interviewee has the right to request to review the responses before publication or broadcast. The press agency and the interviewer must comply with this request.
- Journalists are not allowed to use statements made at conferences, seminars, meetings, and exchanges attended by journalists and convert them into interview articles without the consent of the speaker.
- The press agency, interviewer, and interviewee are responsible for the content of the information published or broadcast in the press.
The above constitutes a response to the press interview, and the press agency, interviewer, and interviewee are responsible for the content of the information published or broadcast in the press.
Respectfully!
