Principles of Operation of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association

Based on Clause 3, Article 134 of the Charter of the Vietnam Writers' Association (issued together with Decision 1685/QD-TTg in 2021), the principles for the activities of the Executive Committee of the Association are stipulated as follows:

- The Executive Committee operates according to the Regulations of the Executive Committee, complies with the provisions of the law and the Charter of the Association;

- The Executive Committee meets twice a year, and may hold extraordinary meetings upon request from the Standing Committee or at the request of more than half of the total Executive Committee members;

- Meetings of the Executive Committee are valid when more than half of the total Executive Committee members are present. The Executive Committee may vote by raising hands or by secret ballot. The method of voting is decided by the Executive Committee;

- Resolutions and decisions of the Executive Committee are approved when more than half of the total Executive Committee members vote in favor.
