Preventive Measures for Child Protection
Based on Clause 2, Article 49 of the 2016 Law on Children regarding the levels of support
- Warning about the risks of child abuse; providing knowledge, skills, and intervention measures to eliminate or mitigate the risk of child abuse to parents, teachers, child caregivers, individuals working in child protection service facilities, and children to reestablish a safe living environment for children at risk of abuse;
- Receiving information, assessing the level of risk, and applying necessary measures to support children at risk of violence, exploitation, or abandonment to eliminate or mitigate the risk of violence, exploitation, or abandonment;
- Supporting children with special circumstances as stipulated in this Law;
- Supporting children with special circumstances and their families to access social assistance policies and other support sources to improve living conditions for children.
The above are measures to protect children at the preventive level according to the Law on Children.
