Principles and Objectives of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations
Pursuant to Article 2 of the Charter of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations issued together with Decision No. 584/QD-TTg in 2022, the principles and objectives of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations are as follows:

The Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations (hereinafter referred to as the Union) is a socio-political-professional organization representing member organizations with the same principles and objectives, having legal status, consisting of: central specialized literature and arts associations, literature and arts associations of provinces and centrally-run cities (local literature and arts associations), and the Vietnam Literature and Arts Creative Support Fund.

The objective of the Union is to gather and unite member organizations and literature and arts associations to coordinate and assist each other in professional and social activities in order to build and develop an advanced Vietnamese culture full of national identity, to promote literary and artistic creation to serve the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnam, and to achieve the goals of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization.
