How is the Promotion of the Effectiveness of Basic Cultural Institutions to Improve the Spiritual Life of Family Members Regulated?

I would like to inquire about the regulations on the task of promoting the effectiveness of grassroots cultural institutions to improve the spiritual life of family members and enhance the role of the family, the school, and society in moral and lifestyle education.

Promote the Effectiveness of Local Cultural Institutions to Enhance the Spiritual Life for Family Members

Based on Subsection 3 Section II Article 1 of Decision 96/QD-TTg of 2022 regulating the effectiveness of local cultural institutions to enhance the spiritual life for family members, the provisions are as follows:

- Promote the effective use of local cultural and sports institutions to serve the healthy recreational and exercise needs, contributing to the development of physically and mentally healthy Vietnamese people.

- Strengthen the role of local cultural houses, traditional houses, libraries, commune cultural post offices, and cultural and historical monuments in educating ideals, ethics, lifestyles, and cultural conduct standards for family members, especially the younger generation.

- Develop information pages on the local information system about educational content on ethics, lifestyles, and inspire the desire to contribute among all youth in the community, contributing to building a safe and healthy social environment.

- Integrate educational content on family ethics and lifestyles into the activities of the Movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” and the campaign “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities,” contributing to building a great unity block from the grassroots level.

Promote the Role of Family, School, and Society in Ethical Lifestyle Education

Based on Subsection 4 Section II Article 1 of Decision 96/QD-TTg of 2022 regulating the role of family, school, and society in ethical lifestyle education, the provisions are as follows:

Role of the Family

Promote the role and responsibility of grandparents, parents, and elders in the family in propagating ethics, lifestyles, and cultural conduct standards within the family to provide comprehensive and harmonious education in morality, intelligence, physical, and aesthetics for youth, teens, and children.

Role of the School

+ Enhance the effectiveness of implementing cultural conduct rules in schools.

+ Organize educational sessions on family ethics and lifestyles for students.

+ Proactively propose and cooperate with relevant units to propagate and build a cultural conduct environment, promptly commending exemplary models of good cultural conduct in schools.

Role of Local Authorities

Local governments at all levels should enhance leadership and direct the organization of propaganda activities about the value of family, cultural conduct in families, and ethical lifestyle education in families to develop well-rounded individuals starting from the family, especially targeting the younger generation.
