How does the Ministry of Education and Training implement the preservation and promotion of the value of folk songs, folk dances, folk music, and tourism?
1. Implementation Work of the Ministry of Education and Training
Based on Clause 2.2, Subsection 2, Section V, Article 1 of Decision 3404/QD-BVHTTDL in 2021 regulating the Ministry of Education and Training's implementation in preserving and promoting the value of ethnic minority folk songs, dances, and music linked to tourism development as follows:
Coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to develop a program to deploy project tasks according to an appropriate timetable; effectively implement the coordination program between the two agencies; direct localities to organize and participate in competitions, festivals, exchanges, and research on cultural heritage in schools, especially traditional folk songs, dances, and music for students in schools, paying special attention to ethnic boarding schools in provinces/cities; create conditions for students in ethnic boarding schools to participate in festivals, holidays, traditional days, and cultural and artistic programs of ethnic minorities in each locality.
2. Implementation Work of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs
Based on Clause 2.1, Subsection 2, Section V, Article 1 of Decision 3404/QD-BVHTTDL in 2021 regulating the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs' implementation in preserving and promoting the value of ethnic minority folk songs, dances, and music linked to tourism development as follows:
Lead and cooperate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to allocate adequate and necessary funding and resources from the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for 2021 - 2030 to ensure the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and localities effectively implement Project 06 "Preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities linked to tourism development"; research and propose mechanisms and policies to preserve, promote, and develop the culture of ethnic minorities; effectively implement the coordination program between the two agencies and implement ethnic policies related to the contents of this Scheme.
