The preferential regime for persons engaged in revolutionary activities prior to 1945 is stipulated in Article 9 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons with Meritorious Services to the Revolution 2020 (effective from July 1, 2021). Specifically:
- Issuance of the “Certificate of Revolutionary Activities Before January 1, 1945” as prescribed by the Government of Vietnam.
- Monthly allowance, monthly additional allowance.
- Health insurance.
- Annual convalescence for health recovery.
- Assistance in improving housing conditions based on contributions and individual circumstances.
- Preferential regimes specified at point c and point g, clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance.
- Allocation of funds for purchasing the daily Nhan Dan newspaper; facilitating participation in suitable cultural and spiritual activities.
