Fifth Blood Donation: Eligibility for Commendation from the Provincial People's Committee?
According to Article 7 of the Regulations on Commendation and Reward for Individuals, Families, and Collectives with Outstanding Achievements in Voluntary Blood Donation and Promotion of Voluntary Blood Donation, issued in conjunction with Decision 122/QD-BCDQG in 2017, the criteria and forms of commendation for individuals are stipulated as follows:
- First-time blood donors:
The district-level Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation or the Blood Collection Center shall award a “Certificate of Voluntary Blood Donation” and a “High Deed” Badge (if available).
- Third-time blood donors:
The district-level Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation shall propose to the People's Committee at the same level to award a Certificate of Merit.
- Fifth-time blood donors:
The provincial-level Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation shall award a set (6 pieces) of bronze-colored glass cups or other suitable gifts.
...
Apart from the above-mentioned standards and forms of commendation, for each instance of voluntary blood donation, individuals shall receive a “Certificate of Voluntary Blood Donation” from the Blood Collection Center.
On the occasion of “World Blood Donor Day - June 14” every year, the National Steering Committee organizes a “Ceremony to Honor Outstanding Voluntary Blood Donors of Vietnam” and proposes to the Leaders of the Communist Party and the State to meet and commend these outstanding individuals.
Thus, in the event that you donate blood for the fifth time, you will be awarded a set (6 pieces) of bronze-colored glass cups or other suitable gifts by the provincial-level Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation. Additionally, you will receive a Certificate of Voluntary Blood Donation from the Blood Collection Center.
Respectfully!
