Facilities and Utilities of the Vocational Education Institution Library

According to the provisions in Clause 3, Article 18 of Decree 93/2020/ND-CP (effective from October 5, 2020), it is stipulated that the physical facilities and amenities of the library in vocational education institutions must meet the following requirements:

- Located centrally or at a convenient location for users of the library in the educational institution;

- Sufficient area to store reference materials, textbooks, educational materials, reading service areas, staff working areas, and other professional processing needs;

- Ensure a reading space for library users of at least 100 m² for colleges; at least 50 m² for vocational education centers and vocational education - continuing education centers;

- Have the equipment and facilities to meet the professional and operational requirements of the library staff and serve library users; convenient for disabled individuals to access information resources;

- Ensure specialized equipment and facilities for the preservation of information resources, security, safety, and fire prevention and firefighting.
