Expenditure Duties of the Local Budget under the Ordinance on Incentives for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution

The tasks of local budget expenditures under the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons with Meritorious Services to the Revolution stipulated in Clause 2, Article 45 of the 2020 Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons with Meritorious Services to the Revolution. To be specific:

The local budget ensures the following expenditure tasks:

- Organizing memorial ceremonies and burial of martyr remains;

- Expenses for organizing ceremonies to award or posthumously award the title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother", organizing funerals for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers;

- Investment in constructing, renovating, repairing, upgrading, and managing projects that honor martyrs, and martyr graves;

- Regular expenses of social establishments for nurturing, convalescing, and welcoming persons with meritorious services to the revolution under local management as prescribed by law;

- Expenses for visiting and encouraging persons with meritorious services to the revolution and their families on holidays and Tet;

- Ensuring funding for the implementation of policies preferential for persons with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives issued by local authorities.
