Designing a Fire Protection System for a Karaoke Business Establishment: How to Implement?
According to Article 6 of Circular 147/2020/TT-BCA stipulating the design of fire prevention and fighting. To be specific:
The design for fire prevention and fighting is implemented for independent karaoke service businesses, dance hall services from 3 floors or more or with a total volume of 1,500 m3 or more, and karaoke service businesses, dance hall services located in buildings or structures listed in Appendix V issued under Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP.
Karaoke service businesses, dance hall services specified in Clause 1 of this Article must be designed for fire prevention and fighting according to the provisions of Article 11 of Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP. To be specific:

k) Firefighting system ensuring compliance with the provisions of QCVN 06:2020/BXD, TCVN 3890:2009, TCVN 7336:2003 "Automatic Sprinkler Firefighting System - Design Requirements", TCVN 5738:2001 "Automatic Fire Alarm System - Design Requirements" (hereinafter referred to as TCVN 5738:2001) and national standards and technical regulations on fire prevention and fighting. To be specific:
Fire prevention and fighting means ensuring quantity and quality according to standards and technical regulations on fire prevention and fighting, with specific norms specified in the Appendix issued with this Circular;
The automatic fire alarm system ensures compliance with the provisions of TCVN 5738:2001. Bells, corridor fire alarm lights, and additional fire alarm bells are arranged inside each room of the karaoke service business, dance hall service, and the fire alarm system is interconnected to automatically cut off the power system of the sound system in the singing rooms when the fire alarm system operates in the event of a fire or explosion incident;
The fire intensity, and the firefighting area of the automatic Sprinkler firefighting system for dance hall businesses are calculated based on group III medium fire risk facilities, and for karaoke service businesses are calculated based on group I medium fire risk facilities. When the rooms are fire-separated from each other and separated from the corridor by type 1 fire-resistant walls according to the provisions of QCVN 06:2020/BXD, the area of the largest room is allowed to be used as a basis for calculating the flow rate and required volume of the water reserve tank for the automatic Sprinkler firefighting system. The fire fighting time must not be less than 60 minutes;
The outdoor firefighting water supply system ensures compliance with the provisions of QCVN 06:2020/BXD and TCVN 3890:2009. For karaoke service businesses, dance hall services located within 100 meters from a fire hydrant in the urban water supply system or 150 meters from a river, lake, pond,... with a water intake point for firefighting means are not required to design an outdoor firefighting water supply system;
